Iran placed second with 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze

Iran placed second at 2008 junior world freestyle wrestling championship in Turkey, Istanbul.

The only Iran gold medalist was Masoud Esmaeilpour who defeated all of his rivals at 60kg.

Also Hasan Rahimi at 50kg and Saeid Tavakol at 74kg captured silver medal and Komeil Ghasemi was third at 96kg.

Russia won team title with 69 points and Iran stand second with 49 points as well as Georgia was third with 41 points.
